ON NOW at the Art Gallery of New South Wales is Near at Hand: Dobell Australian Drawing Biennial 2026, featuring KS artist Ryan Nazzari.
The Dobell Australian Drawing Biennial is the country’s leading curated exhibition dedicated to contemporary drawing, and this sixth edition brings together just 11 artists from across Australia. Curated by AGNSW Assistant Curator of Australian Art Scott Elliot, the exhibition reflects the breadth and vitality of drawing today. Nazzari’s watercolours bring together animals, figures, limbs and faces in strange, hybrid forms that are immediately his own.
The exhibition is now open at the Art Gallery of New South Wales and runs until 7 March 2027.
KS will follow this significant institutional presentation with an exhibition of new works by Nazzari in November 2027.
