Kolbusz Space is a contemporary art gallery in Boorloo / Perth, Western Australia founded and directed by artist Waldemar Kolbusz. Purpose-built in 2019 in the former industrial Claisebrook precinct on the inner-city fringe, Kolbusz Space is also a multi – purpose studio and project space.
Kolbusz Space prioritises ways to encourage sustainable careers and facilitate positive outcomes for selected artists, encouraging direct involvement with the community to nurture new collectors and invigorate a broader cultural exchange.
Kolbusz Space has a tightly curated exhibition schedule which promotes innovative and engaging artists who excel across broad mediums including painting, neon, sculpture, ceramics, textile, new media art and photography. Kolbusz Space also offers an expansive online and inhouse stockroom of artworks available for purchase, lease or interest free lease-to-buy reflecting a shift toward more accessible, adaptable collecting, for both private and commercial spaces.

Waldemar Kolbusz lives and works in Boorloo / Perth, Western Australia and has been painting full-time and exhibiting regularly for over two decades both nationally and internationally.
Kolbusz paints in two streams which interrelate, one of figurative works which examine experience and test the differences between an idealised human experience and reality – the increasingly blurred overlap between the two in our contemporary lives.
Kolbusz’ paintings have been commissioned for major projects nationally and internationally and are widely collected.
